How does a Bladder Pressing work ?
In a HVA machine often called as a bladder press, a shortwave infrared radiation heating system is used to soften the laminate prior to forming. Then a vacuum membrane system forms the laminate to the surface of the panel.
Bladder Press provide accurate control and avoid glossing or texture washout of the engineered laminate being applied. The vacuum press machine will form and bond the laminate into deep recesses without popping or bubbling.
Our Bladder Press is designed to apply decorative engineered laminates to interior elements of a vide range of vehicles using heated vacuum press technology
They can also be used to apply leather to car interiors, or to laminate furnishings such as car roofs and dashboards. That means they can be used to produce interior elements for a wide range of vehicles. Not just that, our bladder press can be used for decorative engineered laminates to aircraft interior panels, trucks, trains, boats and buses.
Benefits of Using a Bladder Press
- Highly responsive infrared heating
- Provides accurate control and avoid glossing or texture washout of the laminate
- Forms and bonds the laminate into deep recesses without popping or bubbling
Did you know? - Despite the decline since the 1970s, when manufacturing contributed 25% of UK GDP, the UK is currently the ninth largest manufacturing nation in the world.
